Oldie but Goodie

Last year we worked on a fun collaboration painting commission for James which is an amazing restaurant in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Philadelphia. We've been meaning to put these pic's up on our website for awhile now but haven't yet gotten around to it, so I figured this might be a good place to start.

Matt and Wes stretching the canvas.

Here we have Matt painting away...just in case you're wondering, he does the more realistic glazed sections and I do the others. And yeah, I know, my studio is messy.

Hanging the painting.

...and last but not least, we reward ourselves with a tasty meal from the restaurant. So good.

Snow Day

Who doesn't love a snow day? Here's a pic from my studio window and also one of Juniper getting ready for a walk. We didn't get a lot of snow...not like the snow I grew up with in MN, but it's still enough to celebrate with hot chocolate.

Line Skis

We worked on a fun project with Line Skis and were excited to get samples in the mail.  Check your local slope to see if you can spot them for yourself.

Baby Juniper

We've been keeping very busy since the arrival of Juniper in mid-November, she's slowly but surely getting used to life in the studio and especially likes sitting with me in her sling while I work on the computer. Now if I could just get her to hold a paintbrush.....

Hello

Hello, Welcome to the blog of Gina Triplett and Matt Curtius. We're artists, and put work related things on our other website. This is our place for the other things in our lives. That said, we're workaholics, so some of that will probably creep in here as well.
